ADHD Therapy for Adults
Services - ADHD Therapy for Adults

ADHD Support That Comes From Lived Experience, Not Just Textbooks
Trying to explain your ADHD to someone who has only read about it can feel
exhausting. You might leave therapy feeling misunderstood, judged, or like you are
still somehow getting it wrong. After a while, it can feel easier to stop explaining
and just carry the weight on your own.
This space is different.
I am Autistic and ADHD, and I work with adults who live with similar brains. My
ADHD therapy is shaped by both professional training and real lived experience. I
understand the mental clutter, shutdown days, guilt about unfinished tasks, and the
constant pressure to keep up in a world that rarely slows down.
I provide online ADHD therapy services for adults in states where I am licensed,
including ADHD therapy in Houston, as well as support for adults In Jacksonville,
Phoenix, and throughout South Carolina. All sessions are virtual, with options for
video or audio-only if being on camera feels draining.
Our work focuses on ADHD counseling that connects to daily life. That can include
executive function coaching, ADHD coping strategies, and emotional support for
anxiety, burnout, or self-doubt. We move at a pace that respects your energy and
capacity.

You Do Not Have To Figure This Out Alone
There is nothing wrong with you for feeling more overwhelmed than everyone else seems to be. Nothing wrong with needing more time, more rest, or different ways of doing things. Living in a brain that works differently can be exhausting in a world that expects sameness. Your struggles make sense, even if other people have not understood them.

Many adults seek ADHD therapy after spending years feeling like daily life takes more effort than it should. Tasks that look simple on the outside can feel difficult to start, organize, or complete. Over time, this can affect work performance, relationships, and self-confidence.
You may have been described as distracted, inconsistent, or unmotivated when you were actually dealing with overwhelm or executive function challenges. Repeated burnout can lead to anxiety, frustration, and self-doubt..
Adult ADHD therapy focuses on understanding these patterns and building practical tools that support focus, organization, emotional regulation, and follow-through in your real day-to-day life.

When ADHD Has Affected Your Life for Years
How ADHD Can Feel in Adult Life
When Your Mind Never Quite Slows Down, Even When You’re Exhausted

Living with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) as an adult often means feeling pulled in many directions at once. You may struggle with executive function differences, such as starting tasks, staying organized, managing time, or following through—even when you care deeply and are trying your best. Your mind might feel constantly active, jumping between ideas, worries, and plans, while your body feels depleted. Emotional regulation can also be challenging; feelings may arrive intensely and linger longer than expected.
Many adults with ADHD carry years of self-blame, having been told they’re lazy, inconsistent, or not trying hard enough. Support for ADHD adults in therapy is not about forcing productivity—it’s about understanding how your brain works, reducing overwhelm, and finding strategies that fit your real life. When ADHD is met with compassion instead of pressure, clarity and self-trust often begin to grow.
ADHD often comes with creativity, curiosity, and the ability to think in ways others do not. At the same time, it can make organization, follow-through, and emotional regulation more difficult to manage consistently. You may find it easier to connect with people who understand different ways of thinking. Feeling understood without needing to explain every detail can be a relief.
Because ADHD looks different for each person, ADHD therapy focuses on your specific patterns, strengths, and stress points. The goal is not to change who you are, but to build ADHD coping strategies, strengthen executive function, and create systems that support your daily life.
